Lots Alive Upresting Performance
May 1, 2016 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Lots Alive, a grant program of the Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts and the Baltimore Office of Sustainability’s Growing Green Initiative, supports the creation of temporary public art projects sited on vacant lots within the Baltimore City limits.
Upresting, a winner of the Lots Alive grant program, is a series of workshops and performances focused around an interactive quadrophonic sound installation developed by local artist Adam Holofcener.
These free events are scheduled to take place at 1401 N. Fremont Ave. in the Upton neighborhood of West Baltimore from 1-4pm on April 16, 23, 30, and May 1. The performances, scheduled for April 30 and May 1, will feature performances crafted for this specific sonic environment by local musicians Joy Postell, Wendel Patrick, Greydolf, DDM, and Adam Holofcener.
